Jesus's Disciples and Astro - Theology Behind Them !!!


                                                                        


1.  Andrew – Aries Sign:    

The word Andrew is derived from a Greek word called “Andreas” which means Manly or Masculine and sign Aries is ruled by Mars and is masculine by nature. Disciple Andrew was the first to join Jesus Christ and Zodiac cycle also starts from Aries.

The symbol for St. Andrew is X shaped Cross on which he was hanged.

2. Bartholomew – Taurus Sign:

The name Bartholomew means “Furrow”, long narrow trenches made on ground by animals like cow and Taurus is an earthly sign represented by an animal Bull. 
The symbol for St. Bartholomew is a Bible and a flaying knife, a depiction of furrow being cut.

3. Thomas – Gemini Sign:

Thomas is a Greek name derived from ancient Aramaic word “Taom” which means Twins just like what Zodiac sign Gemini represents.
Thomas is also referred in Bible as “Doubting Thomas”, which is another way of depicting two minds of Zodiac sign Gemini.

The symbol of St. Thomas is Two Stones & Two Arrows, representing is trade as carpenter and his painful death as from spears.

4. James - Cancer Sign:

His symbol is scallop shell and a sword referencing his pilgrimage by sea. Zodiac sign Cancer is depicted by Crab in water and is ruled by Moon.
5. Thaddaeus – Leo Sign:
Thaddaeus is Greek name derived from Aramaic which means Courageous Heart. And Leo zodiac sign is depicted by animal Lion and Leo also rules Heart in astrology.

6. Matthew - Virgo Sign:
M is how zodiac sign Virgo is represented. Matthew means “Gift from God”. His symbol is “Three Purses and an Axe Head”. Virgo is ruled by Mercury which is depicted by number 3.
St. Matthew’s day is celebrated on 21th of September during Autumn equinox which is a time from crop harvesting and consequently of Tax Collection & St. Matthew was a Tax Collector.


7. James the Less – Libra Sign:

We hear quite less about this apostle. He was depicted as someone with retiring nature, someone who is immersed in his sub- conscious and thinking aspect.
In his sign we find SAW with two stones, which is said to represent his body being cut after his death.

8. Judas Iscariot - Scorpio Sign:

Judas was the disciple who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of Silver with a kiss in garden of Gethsemane. Scorpio sign represents Judas as a scorpion will bite you leaving a mark that looks like two lips. This is known as Kiss of Death.  This is the point where Sun appears dead for 3 days.

9. Philip – Sagittarius Sign:

Word Philip comes from Greek work “Philippos” which means friend of Horses. The half horse and half man sign of Sagittarius Sign represents this. Part of the body associated with horse is the hips, Hippos, Phi-hippo.

10. John – Capricorn Sign:

He was the only disciple to have lives till old age and died a natural death reflecting its Planet Saturnine ties. His sign is serpent that represents dark night and Saturn.    

11. Peter – Aquarius Sign:

Peter or Cephas is rock upon which Christian Church was built. Just as Glyph of Jupiter and Saturn are inversion of each other so is Peter inversion of Christ. His death became inversion of Christ’s death, by insisting they crucify him upside down.

12. Simon the Zealot – Pisces Sign:

A fanatic and zealot about Christian believes, denoted by fish sign representing his belief in New Piscean Age.
