Isaiah 52 "Messenger's Feets ": A Quest For Yeshu's Yahoo Messenger!!!
“Behold, My servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.”
“According as many were appalled at thee--so marred was his visage unlike that of a man, and his form unlike that of the sons of men”.
“So shall he startle many nations, kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which had not been told them shall they see, and that which they had not heard shall they perceive”.
-Isaiah 52:13-15.
A lot many times we hear Christians often asserting the Divinity of Jesus based on this very verses. They even claim that this verse proves to whole world that Jesus was a Prophecised Messiah based on the above verses.
I openly challenge all that there is not a single Prophecy every fulfilled by Jesus and like always we will today deal with this verse . So folks, take out your magnifying glasses and get ready to scrutinize the above So-called Jesus Prophecy. Here we go:
Christians Fantacy Logic: ” They often argue that this verse is talking about a Person and a Second person singular tense so it has to do with Jesus.”
Refutation: Well, people do understand, we cannot scratch a verse from some Portion of a Chapter and put it in between some Bread Slice and satisfy our Hunger. With Bible its not possible, Trust me its not some instant food Maker. Most of Christian fail to read the bible in context and thus, keep scratching there Head for rest years of their lives. Let me show you how God has compared Israel with a Human-Female from the same chapter 52:
Verse1: “ Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.”( Notice how God compares Israel/Zion to a Human by ordering it to put on garments.)
Messenger's Feets |
Verse2: “ Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.”( God asking Zion to sit like a human, and free itself from bondage in her Neck.)
Do you really think that a Nation can behave like that? Obviously not, but god always treats Israel as Wife some times as Son and some times as Servant and that’s why In Exodus he refers him self as a Jealous God .Its Gods way to show his concern for his Nation.
Christian Fantacy Logic: Evangalists in there quest and to prove there point often quote from a particular verse from this same chapter since that same verse is quoted in one of gospel i.e verse 7:
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that announceth peace, the harbinger of good tidings, that announceth salvation….”
To tell the truth , there is not an iota of truth in the above verse. The problem with Christians is that lets suppose a particular verse consists of five lines and if only in three sentences they can establish there propaganda and Lie they won’t even care for remaining two lines.Because remaining two sentences could spoil their Finely designed Game. And they even managed to do such a brain washing to future generations that latter generations might not even by mistake look at remaining two sentences of same verse. Now, what is in those remaining sentence? Lets see the full verse 7:
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that announceth peace, the harbinger of good tidings, that announceth salvation; that saith unto Zion: “Thy God reigneth!”
Do you catch now? It says that how beautiful are feets of messengers who bring glad tidings to Israel saying to Israel that “ Thy God reigneth” . Well but according to Christians good news ( Gospel) is John 3: 16 “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that who so ever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal Life” Right? But it seems to me that this verse is not even hinting towards that, forget about the mentioning.
And to add to embarresment this same verse was used to Equate Jesus with this Prophecy of Isaiah, isn’t that true? Well even those gospel writers understood that , to mention whole verse without chopping it to the extent that it suited there lie, their game will get exposed.
Now we are not done yet, for Christians as in verse 8 and 9 they mention not just glad tiding as like verse 7 but also give an elaborate reason for all joy and happiness, lets see:
Verse 8:” Hark, thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see, eye to eye, the LORD returning to Zion.”( That is Lord is returning to them Zion as the latter was in captivity ,check verse 2 how lord address Israel: ‘O captive daughter of Zion’.)
Verse 9: “
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the LORD hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.”(Again another reference made to jerusalem’s return from captivity.) Now after Israel return from captivity what shall there God do? It is at this point of time verse 13-15 are given as Blessing for Zion for her Suffering: Verse 13: “Behold, My servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.” Verse 14 :” According as many were appalled at thee--so marred was his visage unlike that of a man, and his form unlike that of the sons of men”. Verse 15: “So shall he startle many nations, kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which had not been told them shall they see, and that which they had not heard shall they perceive. ” Conclusion: Is it not rather the Jewish people - who righteously bore the sins of the world and yet remained faithful to God (Ps. 44) - who will be rewarded, and this in the manner described more fully in Isaiah chapters 52 ,53 and 54? |
