Anointed One Of Daniel or Mischieve : You Judge!!!

Daniel's Anointed One Is Angery

“Seventy weeks (490 years) are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness , and to seal up the vision and prophecy (fulfill the promises of the prophets and end the prophetic era), and to anoint the Holy of Holies (the Temple)”.

“Know therefore and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again with plaza and moat but in troubled times.”

“ Then after sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off but not for himself and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.”
                       - Daniel 9:24-26.

Esteemed Readers,

Like every other prophecy that needs brain to be used to interpreted I m going to outline one of the most significant prophecy out a christian life found in Daniel.
Although I already have crippled Christianity yet a fear keeps looming lest we turn Apostates from True God. And the major contributer to that fear is the one found in Daniel Chapter 9. Although even if one prophecy is failing to get fulfilled , its a clear sign that it’s time to say Hasta Lavista Baby !!,yet its is still prudent to delve a bit deeper & there is no harm in increasing onces Knowledge. Article is pretty long so read it at your leisure. So after depriving Christianity of its most valuable asset of torture(SATAN) and crippling it of its very essential Pillar i.e Virgin Birth, Lets investigate the life force of this cult  :

In the year 3390(440 BCE), Daniel contemplated two critical prophecies in which Jeremiah spoke of Babylon’s demise following 70 years (Jer. 25:12 and 29:10). Although both of these 70-year visions foretold the termination of the Babylon Empire, it was only the second prophecy (Jer.29:10) that spoke of the restoration of the Jewish people to the Promised Land. When Daniel considered these twotexts, however, he mistakenly concluded that Jeremiah's two 70-year prophecies were speaking of an identical period of time. This misunderstanding caused him to draw three flawed conclusions.
First-: The point to begin counting the 70 years for both prophecies was the year 3320(510 BCE), when Babylon conquered Jerusalem.

Second-:These prophecies must  end 70 years after Jerusalem's subjugation, in the year 3390(3320+70=440 BCE), when Darius the Mede succeeded the throne.

Third-: Because Jeremiah's second prophecy (Jer. 29:10) spoke of God restoring Israel after the completion of 70 years, Daniel concluded that the second temple would certainly be built in the year 3390(440 BCE), in the first year of Darius the Mede.
When Daniel realized that the year 3390(440 BCE) was at hand, and there was no sign of the impending redemption, he became deeply agitated. He thought that the sins of Jews had caused the date to be delayed, or worse canceled. This terrifying thought compelled Daniel to fast and pray (Dan. 9:4-20) for the restoration of Jerusalem and its Sanctuary. It is therefore in this chapter that Daniel is made to understand that the two prophecies of Jeremiah are in fact not identical, and each one of them referred to a separate, but overlapping, 70-year period of time. Whereas the prophecy of Jeremiah 25:12 was in fact referring to the 70-year time span that began in the year 3320(510 BCE), when Jerusalem was subjugated, the prophecy that promised the restoration of the Jewish people to their land (29:10) was not to begin for another 18 years. Accordingly, Gabriel here relates to Daniel that in order to correctly ascertain when the Second Temple would be built, he must begin counting the 70 years "from
the going forth of the WORD [ 9:25 ) [דבר )," which is "the WORD [ דבר ] of Jeremiah" that begins at "the destruction of Jerusalem (9:2)," in the year 3338(3320+18=492 BCE). In fact, Jeremiah's prophecy of restoration (29:10) was fulfilled in the year 3408(492-70=422 BCE),exactly 18 years later than Daniel had originally thought.

No Nebuchadnezzer, king of Babylon, destroyed the First Temple in the year 3338(492 BCE), 18 years after he subjugated Jerusalem in the year 3320(510 BCE).

The angel Gabriel responds to Daniel's prayerful inquiry of God by carefully outlining the course of events which was to unfold over a crucial period of time that spanned 490 years, or "70 weeks" (the Babylonian exile lasted 70 years, plus the 420 years which the
Second Temple stood). Thus, the angel was not only revealing to Daniel when the Second Temple would be restored, but when it would be destroyed as well.Gabriel also reveals that once these "70 weeks" were completed, the Messianic Age could begin.
Thus, in verse 24, the angel describes six elements that will characterize the world in the Messianic Age:-
Chronological Chart of
Daniel Chapter Nine
1) Termination of transgression 2) End of sin 3) Removal of all iniquity 4)Ushering in of everlasting righteousness 5) Sealing of vision and prophet
6) Anointing of the Holy of Holies. And once these 490 years are completed,it would indeed be up to each subsequent generation to turn back to God in order to bring about the glorious arrival of the messiah.
Big question every Christian Apologist should ask is did any such thing ever happened after Jesus got cut-off? On the contrary since the birth  of Christianity there has been continuous Crusade happening, loads of innocent people got killed , Chruch established Dark Age in Europe, and with the advent of Islam things degenerated quickly
into even worst .How can it refer to Jesus?
The prophet Jeremiah predicted (25:12) the termination of Babylon following a period of 70 years. This prophecy began when Babylon subjugated Jerusalem in the year 3320(510 BCE), and culminated when Cyrus called for the rebuilding of Jerusalem and a temple (Isaiah44:28-45:1) in the year 3390(440 BCE) and it is then that work in progress of Second Temple actually started in contrast to Daniel’s wrong assumption that by 3390(440 BCE) Second Temple will already be their for use, to once again begin Sacrifice.

Verse (9:24) has revelation that "70 weeks" (490 years) have been decreed upon the Jewish people and Jerusalem, after which the Messianic Age can commence. The verses that follow contain a detailed description of what would transpire during this time. This period spanned from the destruction of the First Temple until the destruction of the Second, exactly 490 years (3338-3828). “Seven weeks” (of years) – Gabriel reassured Daniel that after a full "7 weeks" (49 years) passed, counting from "the going forth of the
WORD [ דבר ]" when Jerusalem was destroyed (9:2), an anointed ruler would command the Jewish people to return and rebuild Jerusalem (9:25). Indeed, after a half century
passed, Cyrus, who God declared as His "anointed one," (Isaiah45:1), ordered the Jews to return and rebuild Jerusalem and the holy sanctuary (Isaiah 44:28-45:1, 13;Ezra 1:2-3; II Chronicles 36:22-23). “Sixty two weeks” (of years) - In verse 9:25, the angel reveals to Daniel how, for a nearly four and a half centuries, Jerusalem would be "rebuilt, street and moat." Gabriel adds, however, that throughout these “62 weeks,” the Holy City would endure "troubled times." Accordingly, the Second Temple period was filled with spiritual and political turbulence. In verse 9:26, the angel reveals that the “62 weeks” would tragically conclude with two watershed events. First, an anointed one (the high priest) would be cut off, and would cease his ecclesiastical functions. Second, the "people of the prince" (the legions of Vespasian and Titus) would come to destroy the Holy City and its sanctuary. Both of these tragic events occurred simultaneously, shortly after the 434 years, or "62 weeks" were completed. Seven years before the Second Temple was destroyed, Rome permitted the Jews to offer sacrifices. This agreement, however, was broken when Nero sent Vespasian to crush Jewish life in Jerusalem in 66 CE, 3½ years before Titus razed Herod's Temple in the year 3829 (Daniel 9:27).

Rome’s Emperor Nero goes to war against Jerusalem in 66 CE, 3 ½ years before
Vespasian destroyed the Second Temple in the year 3829, completing 490 years of Daniel’s prophecy 3 ½ years i.e ½ a week.

Also, if you pay a particular attention to the Prophecy then you would realize that it is saying about two events happening simultaneously i.e  Cutting-Off  of Messiah & Destruction of Temple, Lets see verse 26:-

“ Then after sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off but not for himself and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.”

Almost every Christian knows this truth that Jesus got killed on around 32 A.D and Temple got Destroyed around 70 A.D , a massive gap of more than 3 weeks, so how can Jesus Christ fulfill this Prophecy?

Another problem is that the translation of 7 and 62 weeks has been made to sound  like one undivided unity of 69 weeks. The Christian version makes it sound as if the arrival and “cutting off” of the “Messiah” will take place sixty-nine weeks (483 years) after a decree to restore Jerusalem. They add the 7 and 62 weeks together and have one person (the Messiah) and two events occurring towards the end of the 69th week which is a Big Fraud!!
Furthermore, in Daniel it is written “7 weeks and 62 weeks rather than “7 and 62 weeks.” The use of the word “weeks” after each number also shows that they are separate events. The use of the definite article (ה ~ Hey) that means “the” in verse 26, “and after the 62 weeks shall an anointed one be cut off,” is sometimes deleted in Christian translations, but it’s presence in the Hebrew original clearly indicates that the 62 weeks is to be treated as separate period of time from the original. In short, Christian version omits the Bifurcation to wrongly justify Jesus as Messiah.
Now after that, the question needs to be asked is how did Christian Apologists  arrived at their own Mischievous  calculation? And on what Basis?

The Christian Magic Formula Called Manipulation: A Story of Forgery

        i.            Christians based their understand with a belief that the starting point of the prophesy begins in 444 BCE with the decree issued by King Artaxerxex (Ezra 7:ll-16Sixty–nine weeks (483 years) would bring you to 39 CE. This is 7 years off the commonly accepted date of 32 CE being the year Jesus was put to death, in short, another problem they need to deal with.
ii.            Christians claim that the decree mentioned in Daniel 9:25 was issued by the Persian King Artaxerxes in the year 444 BCE, based on Nehemiah 2:1-8. These passages speak about the king giving Nehemiah “letters” (אגרות ~ Iggrot) for safe passage and permission to rebuild the Temple.
iii.            But the problem is that building of Jerusalem was started and halted several times and there are actually three additional decrees mentioned earlier in the Bible.
1) In Ezra 1:1-4, King Cyrus issues a proclamation and writings granting the Jews permission to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple.
2) Ezra 6:12-13, King Darius issues a decree granting permission to rebuilt the Temple.
3) Ezra 7:11-16, Artaxerxex, issues a decree granting permission to rebuilt the Temple. (Artaxerxex is a Persian title of royalty and can refer to different leaders. This is similar to the way Pharaoh is the title of rulers of Egypt). It seems that Christians picked this passage of 444BCE out of convenience and assigned it this specific date, because, if you start at 444 BCE and count 69 weeks of years (483 years) you reach 39 CE, still ahead of Jesus’s crucification. Now lets see how they resolve the 39 CE issue of Jesus.

iv.            As mentioned above they attempt to resolve this issue by transforming “prophetic years” into solar years. The problem is that according to Jewish tradition and scriptures there is no such thing as a prophetic year of 360 days.
     v.            Jewish scripture  teachs that the Jewish calendar is both Solar and Lunar. As early as Genesis 1:14, that deals with the creation of the sun and the moon, Jews are told in Genesis that “Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years”. Both luminaries are used to determine Jewish calendar. A solar year is 365 1/4 days and a lunar year is 11 days shorter, 354 days long.
vi.            If Jewish holidays were established solely by a lunar year the holidays would move further and further away from their original seasons. This happens all the time with the Muslim Lunar calendar with Ramadan falling in a variety of seasons. A biblical Solar/Lunar calendar corrects this by adding a 13 month leap year approximately every 4 years. Some years have 12 months and the leap year has 13. The fabricated “prophetic year” of 360 days could not exist because it would not allow Jewish holidays to coincide with both months and seasons.
vii.            This 7 year discrepancy is resolved by Christian theologians who redefined the definition of a “year.” They claim that prophesies like Daniel’s are to be understood in “Prophetic years” that have 360 days rather then 365 ¼ days. The argument that Daniel might be speaking to Babylonians who may have had a 360 year is unsubstantiated and refuted by the fact that this particular passage is spoken in Hebrew to Jews who had a different calendar than and Babylonians who spoke Aramaic.
viii.            One Christian attempt to prove this concept of Prophetic years is from the New Testament:“They will tread underfoot the holy city for 42 months, and they will prophesy for 1260 days Revelations. So by dividing 1260 (days) by 42 (months) you get 30 days per month, they claim that each month is 30 days and a Prophetic Biblical year would therefore be being 360 days (30×12=360).
ix.            The Christian major error in establishing the starting point of Daniel prophesy is caused by their mistranslation of the verse, “know therefore and discern that from the going forth of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.” Daniel 9:25
      x.            Since their translation asserts that the starting point of this prophesy is from the issuing of a certain decree to rebuild Jerusalem, they incorrectly assume that it is the decree of King Artaxerxex. However, as mentioned above, there were a number of different decrees made concerning returning and rebuilding Jerusalem.
xi.            In Daniel 9:25 the original Hebrew uses the word (דבר ~ Devar) which is significantly different from a human decree. The word (דבר ~ Devar) refers to a prophetic word. In the beginning of Daniel 9 verse 2, this word is used when Daniel says that he wants to understand “the word of the Lord to the Prophet Jeremiah.”
xii.            The correct translation of Daniel should be: “Know therefore and discern that from the going forth of the word to restore and rebuild Jerusalem” Daniel 9:25. Therefore the correct starting point of Daniel’s prophesy must be associated with the issuing of a prophetic word and not a human decree.
xiii.            In the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the chief executioner was in service of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple of God” Jeremiah 52:12-13.These verses demonstrate that Nebuchadnezzar started to besiege Jerusalem in his first year and the destruction of Jerusalem took place in his “19th” year. Therefore, 18 complete years had passed from the beginning of the siege until the destruction of Jerusalem. During these 18 years Jerusalem was laid siege and completely surrounded.
xiv.            Scriptures also indicate that the 70 years of Jeremiah were completed with the advent of Cyrus the King of the Persian Empire.
xv.            It is important to remember that from the beginning of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, 18 years before the fall of Jerusalem, until the fall of the Babylonian Empire, when Cyrus came into power, 70 years had elapsed. By subtracting the 18 years subjugation before the destruction of the first Temple from the total of 70 years we are left with 52 years. This proves that King Cyrus arose to power and fulfilled Jeremiah’s prophesy 52 years after the destruction of Jerusalem.

Now Pay Firm Attention :
“Know therefore and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again with plaza and moat but in troubled times.”

Starting from the destruction of Jerusalem we can now see the meaning of Daniel 9:24-26. From the Prophetic word (דבר ~ Devar) that refers to the destruction of the first Temple until an anointed Prince (the Hebrew (נגיד ~ nageid) , will be 7 weeks (49 years). As demonstrated earlier, from the destruction of Jerusalem until Cyrus was 52 years, this is within the 7th week (49 years and before the 8th weeks 56 years).

Remember there are two anointed subjects, one after 7 weeks and another after an additional 62 weeks.
The first “anointed” individual identified as a prince/leader in Daniel 9:25 is King Cyrus, who came 7 weeks of years after the destruction of Jerusalem. Then from Cyrus’ Decree to rebuild Jerusalem, “it will be built again” for an additional 62 weeks (434 years). But “in troubled times,” Daniel 9:25, meaning under the foreign domination of the subsequent Persian, Greek and Roman rule.
Then in the 69th week (483 years) after the destruction of the first Temple and 1 week (7 years) before the destruction of the second Temple, an anointed one is cut off.Right? But Jesus Died in 32 A.D & 2nd Temple got destroyed in around 70 A.D? More than 3 weeks gap? So which Anointed one it refers to?

The fact that there is no definite article indicates that this can refer to several different anointed subjects. King Agrippa the last King of Israel (Kings are considered anointed as it says in 1 Chronicles 11:3) who was killed during this time. It also refers to the last High priest (priests are anointed as seen in Leviticus 4) and the sacrifices (indicated in Leviticus 8:10-11). All three subjects were considered anointed and were cut off during the final week before the destruction of the second Temple.

Additionally the sacrificial system (that was anointed) ceased during this last week before the completion of the total 70 weeks of 490 years, as it says, “
“during half of week he will abolish sacrifice and meal-offerings” Daniel 9:27
Historically during the years before the destruction of the second Temple the Romans set up idolatry in the Temple fulfilling the final verse in Daniel 9 that says;
“upon wings of abomination shall come one who make desolate until the decreed destruction is poured out desolator” Daniel 9:27
The Romans, who are often symbolized by the Eagle Wings resting on their standards, would desecrate the Temple with idolatry; destroy the Temple that would remain .

These are the 70 years for the first exile (52 year until Cyrus and 18 additional years to dedicate the second Temple) and 420 years of the second temple.
Although there appears to be a discrepancy in chronology between the Jewish and secular Gregorian calendars of 166 years (with the secular dates earlier) it is clear that Jewish record keeping is more reliable and consistent concerning these events. Babylonian calendars changed arbitrarily with every new Babylonian king and limited archeological discoveries often reflect their arbitrary chronology.

A Brief calculation of three Decrees that I have outlined  in point iii and their fallacy is given as follows for your convience, the question is when was that “ word given to  restore & rebuild Jerusalem :

1.          It cannot be the decree of Cyrus in 538 B.C., for that decree concerned only the temple and not the restoration of the city. Further, it yields a date much too early for the Messiah, 55 B.C.

                         538 B.C.
                        -483 years (69 X 7)
                         55 B.C.
2.         The decree of Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. specifies the city and the walls, but it is too late, A.D. 40.

                         444 B.C.
                        -483 years (69 X 7)
                         40 A.D.
3.       Anderson and those who follow his rather ingenious scheme  begin the seventy sevens with the decree of Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. and come to a date of A.D. 33 by converting it in 360 days as I pointed out earlier which is non-jewish  and  Jewish-God gave time-frame as per Jewish Calender.

                         444 B.C.
-483 =33 A.D. (69 Weeks of Apologists, taking together both 7thweek  & 62th Week and ignoring presense of Messiah in 7th week, which is wrong.)

Again, this is very attractive, for the time-frame fits well. However, as pointed out previously, it simply does not do justice to the normal understanding of "years" as Daniel himself calculated them from Jeremiah's prophecy.
4.       "And  sixty-two sevens the street and moat shall return and be built, even in times of distress" describes graphically the events of the time of Nehemiah which are very familiar to the Bible student. It would seem here that the rebuilding of Jerusalem (not necessarily the decree, this time) is the terminus a quo of the sixty-two sevens.  492( Going forth of the WORD)
                                                                               -385 (62-7=55 X 7.Messiah to be cut)
107 B.C( Still too Earlier for Jesus)                                                                                 The theories that either the crucifixion or the triumphal entry marks the terminus ad quem of the sixty-two sevens yield a date which is too late and of no historical significance in relation to the rebuilding of Jerusalem.

         30 A.D.                                            33 A.D.
        -434 years (62 X 7)        -or-         -434 years (62 X 7)
         405 B.C.                                           402 B.C.

5.             440 B.C. ("street and moat return in time of distress")
                -434 years (62X 7)
6 B.C. (Still to Earlier for Jesus to get Crucified).
In short there is no GAP Theory and neither its mentioned either in Scripture.

Also there are some mistranslations from Hebrew to English I m listing out any one can check them for real meaning from Google translation and match them from real verse in Hebrew-:
1. (קדשים קדש) mean “holy of holies” not the “most holy one”
2. (
דבר ~ Devar) that means “word” not decree.
3. (
משיח ~ Moshiach”) means “anointed” not “Messiah” verse 23
4. (
משיח ~ Moshiach”) means “anointed” not “Messiah” verse 24
5. “seven weeks and sixty-two ” means two events one at 7 weeks and the other 62 weeks later not one event after a cumulative 69 weeks
6. (Hey ~
ה) mean “the
7. (V’ayn Lo ~
לו ואין) mean “will be no more or will have nothing”  and does not mean “not for himself”.Last one  is showing correct in Spanish ,French and hindi but again wrong in English.
