The Cherubium : Its Ancient Origins !!!

The Hebrew term cherubim is cognate with the Assyrian term karabu,  means 'great, mighty'. In some regions the Assyro-Babylonian this term came to refer in particular to spirits which served the gods, in particular to the shedu ,a human-headed winged bulls (  Vaux, Roland. John McHugh, Ancient Israel: Its Life and Institutions (NY, McGraw-Hill, 1961).

The related Lammasu (human-headed winged lions—to which the sphinx is similar in appearance), on the other hand, were the most popular winged-creature in Phoenician art.
The Lammasu was originally depicted as having a king's head, a bull's body, and an eagle's wings, but because of the artistic beauty of the wings.
In Isaiah 37:16, Hezekiah prays, addressing Yahweh as "enthroned above the Cherubim" (referring to the mercy seat).

Cherubim feature at some length in the Book of Ezekiel where they first appear in chapter one, when Ezekiel was "by the river Chebar", they are not called cherubim until chapter 10, but he saw "the likeness of four living creatures". (Ezekiel 1:5) Each of them had four faces and four wings, with straight feet with a sole like the sole of a calf's foot, and "hands of a man" under their wings. Each had four faces: the face of a man, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:6-10).
Sumerian Bull G-d : Anu

In Ezekiel chapter 10, another full description of the Cherubim appears with slight differences in details. Three of the four faces are the same – man, lion and eagle – but where chapter one has the face of an ox, Ezekiel 10:14 says "face of a cherub". Ezekiel equates the Cherubim of chapter ten with the living creature of chapter one by saying:

"This is the living creature (חיה) that I saw by the river of Chebar", in Ezekiel 10:15, and in Ezekiel 10:20 he says: "This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim."

Not only that, in fact bulls were set up as golden images of Yahweh in the two rival temples of the ten northern tribes of Israel (1 Ki. 12:28-29).  And while it is true that this was scandalous in the eyes of the southern Judeans, who made no molten images of God, it is beyond question that they also carried this bull-god conception in their minds.

Bull G-d was associated with cow G-ddesses a bovine deity called Anath.  So, when the old G-d of Canaan, Baal, was dethroned by a new King of heaven, Yahweh, it was natural to some of the Hebrews that Yahweh should acquire the Bull G-s’s wife.

Evidence for this wife-stealing in heaven comes from documents attributed to a Jewish military garrison at Elephantine in Egypt.  These old records, written about 500 B.C. at the southern border of Egypt near Syene (Aswan) bear witness to the fact that the soldiers had built for themselves a temple for their G-d, Yahu (Yahweh), and for the goddess Anath-yahu.  Thus, they had married Yahweh to Baal’s former wife, the cow goddess of Canaan.

Doubtful Integrity of Jesus's Disciples:Pagan Dieties as Contemporary Disciples: !!

In Egyptian mythology, Osiris was betrayed at his last supper by the evil god Set, whom the Greeks identified with Typhon. This seems to be the origin of the idea that Jesus’ betrayer was present at his last supper.

As already mentioned, the idea of the betrayer at the last supper is derived from the mythology of Osiris who was betrayed by Set-Typhon. Set-Typhon had red hair and this is probably the origin of the claim that Judas had red hair.

Judas is often given the nickname "Iscariot." In some places where English New Testaments have "Iscariot," the Greek text actually has "apo Kariotou" which means "from Karyot." Karyot was the name of a town in Israel, probably the modern site known in Arabic as Karyatein. We thus see that the name Iscariot is derived from the Hebrew "ish Karyot" meaning "man from Karyot." This is in fact the accepted modern Christian understanding of the name. However, the most interesting misunderstanding of the name is its early confusion with the word scortea meaning a leather money bag. This led to the New Testament myth that Judas carried such a bag, which in turn led to the belief that he was the treasurer of the apostles.
Typhon

The apostle Peter appears to be a largely fictitious character. According to Christian mythology, Jesus chose him to be the "keeper of the keys to the kingdom of heaven." This is clearly based on the Egyptian pagan deity, Petra, who was the door-keeper of heaven and the afterlife ruled over by Osiris. We must also doubt the story of Luke "the good healer" who was supposed to be a friend of Paul. The original Greek for "Luke" is "Lykos" which was another name for Apollo, the god of healing.

John the Baptist is largely based on an person who practiced ritual immersion in water as a physical symbol for repentance. He was put to death by Herod Antipas, who feared that he was about to start a rebellion. John's name in Greek was "Ioannes". "Ioannes" closely resembles "Oannes" the Greek name for the pagan god Ea. Oannes was the "God of the House of Water." Sacramental baptism for magically cleansing souls was a practice which apparently originated in the worship of Oannes.
G-d Oannes

The G-d Oannes was associated with the constellation Capricorn. Both Oannes and the constellation Capricorn were associated with water. (The constellation is supposed to depict a mythical sea-creature with the body of a fish and the foreparts of a goat.) We have already seen that Jesus was given the same birthday as the sun god (25 December), when the sun is in the constellation of Capricorn.

The pagans thought of this period as one where the sun god is immersed in the waters of Oannes and emerges reborn. (The Winter Solstice, when days start getting longer, occurs near 25 December.) This astrological myth is apparently the origin of the story that Jesus was baptized by John. It probably started as an allegorical astrological story, but it appears that the god Oannes later became confused with the historical person nicknamed Oannes (John).

Ancient Admixture in Modern Times: Modern Stories of Bible From Ancient East !!!

Many parts of the Jesus story are not based on him . Most Christian denominations claim that Jesus was born on 25 December. Originally the eastern Christians believed that he was born on 6 January. As pointed out already, Jesus was probably confused with Tammuz born of the virgin Myrrha. We know that in Roman times, the gods Tammuz, Aion and Osiris were identified. Osiris-Aion was said to be born of the virgin Isis on the 6 January and this explains the earlier date for Christmas.
G-ddess Myrrha

Isis was sometimes represented as a sacred cow and her temple as a stable which is probably the origin of the Christian belief that Jesus was born in a stable.
The theme of temptation by a devil-like creature was also found in pagan mythology. In particular the story of Jesus’ temptation by Satan resembles the temptation of Osiris by the devil-god Set in Egyptian mythology.

We also know that there was also a connection between Jesus and the pagan god Dionysus. Like Dionysus, the infant Jesus was wrapped in swaddling clothes and placed in a manger; like Dionysus, Jesus could turn water into wine; like Dionysus, Jesus rode on an ass and fed a multitude in the wilderness; like Dionysus, Jesus suffered and was mocked. Some early Christians claimed that Jesus had in fact been born, not in a stable, but in a cave--just like Dionysus.

The third factor contributing to the crucifixion story is again pagan mythology. The theme of a divine or semi-divine being sacrificed against a tree, pole or cross, and then being resurrected, is very common in pagan mythology. It was found in the mythologies of all western civilizations stretching from as far west as Ireland and as far east as India. In particular it is found in the mythologies of Osiris and Attis, both of whom were often identified with Tammuz

Osiris landed up with his arms stretched out on a tree like Jesus on the cross. This tree was sometimes shown as a pole with outstretched arms - the same shape as the Christian cross. In the worship of Serapis (a composite of Osiris and Apis) the cross was a religious symbol. Indeed, the Christian "Latin cross" symbol seems to be based directly on the cross symbol of Osiris and Serapis. The Romans never used this traditional Christian cross for crucifixions, they used crosses shaped either like an X or a T.

The occurrence of Passover at the same time of year as the pagan "Easter" festivals is not coincidental. Many of the Pessach customs were designed as Jewish alternatives to pagan customs. The pagans believed that when their nature god (such as Tammuz, Osiris or Attis) died and was resurrected, his life went into the plants used by man as food. The matza made from the spring harvest was his new body and the wine from the grapes was his new blood. In Judaism, matza, was not used to represent the body of a god but the poor man's bread which the Jews ate before leaving Egypt. The pagans used the paschal sacrifice to represent the sacrifice of a god or his only son, but Judaism used it to represent the meal eaten before leaving Egypt.

Instead of telling stories about Baal sacrificing his first born son to Mavet, the Jews told how mal'ach ha-mavet (the angel of death) slew the first born sons of the Egyptians. The pagans ate eggs to represent the resurrection and rebirth of their nature god, but the egg on the seder plate represents the rebirth of the Jewish people escaping captivity in Egypt.

When the early Christians noticed the similarities between Pessach customs and pagan customs, they came full circle and converted the Pessach customs back to their old pagan interpretations. The seder became the last supper of Jesus, similar to the last supper of Osiris commemorated at the Vernal Equinox. The matza and wine once again became the body and blood of a false god, this time Jesus. Easter eggs are again eaten to commemorate the resurrection of a "god" and also the "rebirth" obtained by accepting his sacrifice on the cross.

Nammu: The Sumerian Goddess of The Deep !!!

Goddess Nammu

“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
                   - Genesis 1:2

Goddess Nammu is known as the mother of the G-d Enki/Ea as well as the mother Goddess who gave birth to the cosmos and all the gods. Like her son Enki/Ea she is also associated with magic. In later times, her role is taken on by Tiamat.

According to the God list An-Anum, tablet I line 28 (Litke 1998: 24; Wiggermann 1998-2001c: 137), Namma bears the title "Mother who gave birth to the heavens and the earth."

Goddess of the Primeval Sea, “ She who gave birth to heaven and earth." In the Sumerian cosmogony, firstly there is the primeval sea, called Nammu which was the endless sea in which the universe floated. They believed that Nammu was without a beginning in time and that Nammu had created heaven and earth.
An indication of her continued relevance may be found in the name of Ur-Nammu, the founder of the Third Dynasty of Ur  between 21st - 20th century BCE. Ur-Nammu founded the Sumerian 3rd dynasty of Ur, in southern Mesopotamia.

Notice how this time scale of Sumerian Empire falls so precisely to the birth time frame of Abraham the Patriarch of Jewish religion, around late 1996 BCE. A clear attestation to the fact that the myths around that time which predominated the empire must have had a profound impact on Abraham as he was in his growing stage. His homeland was also Ur (Gen11:31) and Ur was one of the many city states which made up the country of Sumer.

Just as in the Biblical narrative, humans were fashioned out of clay at Enki’s suggestion as shown  in this translation by S.N. Kramer, who also translated the other verses below:

Mix the heart of the clay that is over the abyss,
The good and princely fashioners will thicken the clay,
You, [Nammu] do you bring the limbs into existence;
Ninmah [earth-mother or birth goddess] will work above you,
The goddesses [of birth] .  . . will stand by you at your fashioning;
O my mother(Nammu), decree its [the newborn's] fate,
Ninmah will bind upon it the image (?) of the gods,
It is man . . . . "

Notice that, just like in the later Bible, humans are made in the image of the Gods. The shadow of Goddess  Nammu  still lingers today and is strongly felt even by linguistics today  in bible, for when G-d hovers over “the deep” in the opening scene of Genesis (Chapter 1, Verse 2), the word  translated here is Tehom, meaning the deeps, the abyss, and linguistically it is the Semitic form of Tiamat, the name of the a Sumero-Babylonian Goddess, a primordial Goddess of the Ocean.

This story of life to have dramatically emerged out of deep ocean is not a new theme. Hindu mythology of Churning Of The Ocean, The Gods and the Demons knew that they could gain the Divine Elixir.

The Serpent Chronicles- 5 !!!

The Red Sea is about 1400 miles (2250km) long, and is a critical link between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. But it's one of the most familiar bodies of water in the world because it is the sea of the Exodus.

All of its eyes are islands  In the northern eye the largest island is Juzur Tawilah. On the southern head, the western (upper) eye is composed of the islands of the Dahlak Archipelago; the eastern, of the Farasan Islands.

Two-headed snakes are not rare, and neither are other two-headed reptiles. I believe this is how we got our understanding of the multi-headed beast/dragon of Revelation and Daniel, and of course, of the Serpent himself. If you compare this photo to the map of Sinai, note that the Exodus crossed, as it were, right over the mouth of this snake, as if they walked over or trampled on the Serpent's head!

Also of note, in front of the southern head's snout is Africa's lowest point. It is Lake Assal in the nation of Djibouti, and is 155 m (509 ft) below sea level. It is "the second lowest land depression on Earth after the Dead Sea" (courtesy Wikipedia). The Dead Sea is just above the north head of the Red Sea snake.

If we closely look at the left side (East) it has Forked tongue of Serpent. We need to ask this question when did Passover, or Pesach (from: פֶּסַח in Hebrew) is celebrated? It is celebrated around 15th of the Hebrew month of Nisan, which corresponds to late March or April in the Gregorian calendar. It is celebrated to commemorate their liberation over 3,300 years ago from Egyptian slavery.

This Passover in late March (at the "equinoxes") coincides with when plane of Earth's equator passes the centre of the Sun. And what happens during equinox? Day and Night becomes equal, represented by the two equal forks shaped tongue of this serpent around Arabian Peninsula around. Also it must be noted that serpent uses his tongue to sense out its prey as its tongue has receptors to quickly process those chemicals. And we all know that Egyptian Pharaoh was trying to hunt down the escaping Hebrew slaves and bring them back by preying on them.

Sun being highest around 21th March, also known as vernal equinox, but as you check the Sun's position on subsequent days, it appears to move West in the Zodiac sign of Aries.
Now, what does the sign of Aries ruled by mars represents in Astrology? It denotes war, aggression and violence. And the story of Hebrews escaping the aggression of Egyptian pharaoh where the latter trying to take them back to captivity by marching with his mighty army, makes quite a sense. Coincidence? I don’t think so !!

It helps illustrate that the Serpent is lowest of all as outlined in Genesis 3:14. If you take another look at the Red Sea snake, please note that the northern head is pictured swallowing the Sinai Peninsula.

Christianity's Quest for Pagan Assimilation Goes On !!!

Christian people are so Dumb calling Yoga as christian now. What a dumb money hungry. When you take fruits of a tree , it’s your moral obligation to nurture the roots (Hinduism), but now it seems to me that Christians of west are so smart that there insatiable longing for pagan gods is far from over.

First they incorporated Egyptian G-D 'Horus', Persian/Vedic G-d 'Mitra', Egyptian G-ddess ISIS as Marry and now Hindu concept of Yoga is also becoming a form of Christianity. Shame less !!!!!

After havign stolen dozens of pagan gods it is still not satisfied in trying toy incorporate all pagan religions and assimilating there G-ds and later decimating those same pagan Religions

Resurrection -One: A Investigation !!!

We shall have a look at of of the pillars of I should say one of the corner stone of the Christianity i.e. The Resurrection. Anything which profess itself to be historical, factual or even accurate need to satisfy certain parameters before it can be accounted as an authentic event of some credibility According to the Biblical historian James D. Tabor in his book The Jesus Dynasty:
" The standard Christian proclamation is well known: that Jesus was raised from the dead, that he appeared to many witnesses, and that he ascended into heaven, where he sits as the glorified Christ at the right hand of God, from where he will return at the end of the age to judge the living and the dead.Three of our four New Testament gospels report “sightings” of Jesus to support the idea that he had been raised from the dead—Matthew, Luke and John. But  what about Mark? Here we come to one of the most ignored and underrated facts of our story. As shocking as it may sound, the original manuscripts of the gospel of Mark report no appearances of the resurrected Jesus at all!" [1]

Mark’s original ending has Mary and Salome flee in fear never to tell anyone about the empty tomb (Mark 16:8), in fact Mark does not even account for the virgin birth. If they didn’t tell anyone, then how do the authors of the rest of the Gospels find out about it? Also there is no evidence that James worshiped his brother or considered him divine.

Possible Explanations of Empty Tomb:

No one in the Gospels is questioned whether or not the tomb was empty; they just tried to give excuses as to why it was empty:
A. The Disciples removed the body. Why should they? How did they get past the guards? Were they all imposters too?
B. Joseph removed the body. Why and where? Was he also an imposter? (Mark 15:43 "an honourable counsellor."
C. The Jews removed the body. If they did they would have been first to produce it to prove He had not risen!
D. The Roman soldiers removed the body. Why would they risk their lives by doing so?
E. He removed His own body because He really did not die (Swoon theory of lapsing into unconsciousness). This is a preposterous thought of a lost mind and soul. There is no doubt that He Rose Again!

The Word Play

 Egeiro

The word used ‘raised’. That's not the word "resurrected." The word for resurrected is "anastasis "(n) or "anistimi (v)”. The word Paul used is "raised" is the word "egeiro" -- "egergetai." That is the word that is used throughout the New Testament for the word "to wake up," to "awaken."

When the disciples were on this boat and there was a storm and Jesus was asleep down below? They were scared, and they went down below and they woke him up? [Matt8:25] They used that word "egeiro". In Romans, Paul said, "Now it is high time to awaken out of sleep." [Romans 13:11] "Egeiro.

Discrepancies in Gospel Account:

What time did the women visit the tomb?

ü  Matthew said "as it began to dawn." Mark said "when the sun had risen." Luke said "at early dawn." John said, "When it was yet dark."

Who were the women who came to the tomb?

ü  Matthew said it was Mary Magdalen and the other Mary. Mark said it was Mary Magdalen, Mary the mother of James, and Salome. Luke said it was Mary Magdalen, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and other women. John said Mary Magdalen.

What was their purpose?

ü  Matthew said it was "to see the tomb." Mark said, it was to bring spices to anoint the body. Luke said they had already seen the tomb, and brought spices. John said the body had already been spiced, before they arrived.

Was the tomb open when they arrived?

ü  Matthew, it was not. The tomb was opened in their presence. But Mark, Luke, and John say, yeah, the tomb was open when they arrived. One of these guys is wrong. They both can't be right.

Who was at the tomb when they arrived?

ü  Mark said there was one "young man." But Luke said there was ‘two men’. Matthew said there was ‘one angel’, and John, the last writer, said, ‘ two angels’.Can you note how the myth is growing and getting more exaggerated?

Did the women tell what happened after they left?

ü  Matthew said yes. Luke said yes: "They returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest." But Mark said, no”.

When Mary returned, did she know that Jesus had been resurrected?

ü  According to Matthew, Mark and Luke, yes; but according to John, she did not know that Jesus had been resurrected.

Did Mary first see Jesus before or after she returned to the disciples?

ü  Matthew and Mark say before, but John says after.

Where did Jesus first appear to the disciples?

ü  Matthew, “it's on a mountain in Galilee, 60-100 miles from Jerusalem.” But according to Mark, “Jesus first appeared to two men strolling in the country, [and] as they sat at meat”. According to Luke, “it was to two men at Emmaus at evening, and then later to the rest in a room in Jerusalem. In John it was just in a room at evening.

Did Jesus stay on the earth for a while?

ü  According to Mark, no. You can compare Mark 16:14 with John 20:19 to show that this all happened on Sunday. According to Luke, no, it all happened on Sunday. According to John, yeah, he stayed at least eight more days, and according to Acts he stayed at least 40 days.

Suffice is it to say that with such type of historical recording it won’t  even take a single stroke to decimate the very notion of the Christ’s resurrection.
